We finally reached the resort and it was beautiful. The beaches were amazing, clear waters and soft sand. We were surprised to learn that the movie Scooby Doo was actually shot here. Here are some photos of the beautiful beach. There were a number of star fishes on the beach. Here is one of them. Es ...
On the fourth day, we travelled to the Tangalooma Resort. First on the bus and then on a ship. The sky was really clear and sunny with beautiful clouds.
After the Carrara Market, we went back to Surfer's Paradise where we spend the rest of the day walking about.
On our free day, we decided to visit the Carrara Markets. This is a huge open area where there are a large number of stores selling all sorts of stuff. Here are the ones which I can remember: All worker bees are females, males do not really work. There is no such thing as Pol ...
After a tiring 8 hour flight we finally reached Gold Coast. We took the opportunity to take a quick photo before the airport folks came at us.
We took a couple of pictures while waiting for boarding. We were wearing the new family T shirt which Pauline got from her trip to Hong Kong. It is the face of an owl and the kids are in red while Pauline and I are in pink and blue respectively.
On the day that we are supposed to be flying off to Gold Coast, Pauline and I were on full day leave so we took the opportunity to take the family out for lunch since our flight is in the evening. We went to Lai Lai at Jurong Point which Esther adores. Here are some pictures with the GX7 paired with ...
