Dragon boat festival is upon us again and Pauline and gang are busy making rice dumplings. Due to the raining conditions, we made a temporary shelter for the pot. It held out really well in the rain.

Ordered the Keychron Q3 which is a TKL layout mechanical keyboard and it is finally here. The keyboard is really sturdy and the typing is really quite good. Opted for the red switches and boy do they sound good.

Changi Airport

We went to Changi Airport as Pauline wanted to get a reusable bag and we had dinner at Jewel. Changi Airport was having a tie in with Chupa Chups and they had giant versions of them. Really cute looking.

Singapore Amazing Flying Machine Competition 2022

Esther took part in the Singapore Amazing Flying Machine Competition 2022 as part of her school robotics team. The team really put in a lot of effort and time. It paid off as they won the third prize in the theory of flight. Basically meaning that they roughly know how their plane flies.

Was playing around with the macro mode on the iPhone which is quite good. Here is a macro of a fabric closed up. It looks quite interesting visually but by accident, I took an out of focus shot which looks even more interesting. The bright spots have become very interesting circles.
