Crontab on macOS

In the more recent version of macOS, the security model by default prevents crontab from working as crontab cannot access the filesystem. Reading an article on Straits Times on the availability of cheap liquor. Midway, they mentioned that there was a Malaysian Anti-cheap Liquor Movement. What a strange name. Why not illicit rather than cheap.
