After the morning marker, we hopped over to the Daming Palace National Heritage Park which is situated at the original Daming Palace of the Tang Dynasty. Nowadays it consist of a park area with a small museum.
We woke up bright and early the next day to visit one of the morning market located next to the city walls. The produce were so fresh.
The next day we started for Mount Hua early in the morning. Mount Hua is often mentioned in Wuxia movies. We took a crazily steep cable car up Mount Hua and that was quite scarily. However the view from the top was unbelievable.
After the visit to the Terracotta Warriors, we took a short bus ride to a workshop where they make miniature Terracotta Warriors. We have lots of fun making our own miniature version of the Terracotta Warriors.
The highlight of the trip is a visit to the Terracotta Warriors. Pauline can check off one item in her bucket list :-) It is quite impressive that they did all these thousands of years ago. The sheer amount of manpower required is staggering.
We reached the hotel in the early hours of the day. During breakfast at the hotel, I saw these beautiful lights. On our way up to our room, I saw this saxophone sculpture. View from our room.
On our way to Xi'an. Pauline is really happy with their phone clip that hooks on the airplane seat so that she can watch her movies.
A bigger can of the Korea grape juice which I like. Has little pieces of grape in the drink itself.
Had a nice coffee at Simple Cafe. Very relaxed interior.
This food display is actually a door. Very innovative.
