We saw Singapore ice cream at Hanoi which is basically the local ice cream sandwich with waffle or bread that every kid has had outside their primary school :-)
In the morning we visited Ti Top Island which is named after a Soviet Cosmonaut Gherman Stepanovich Titov. A beautiful island but we were not adventurous enough so we had a nice relaxing walk.
The next morning, we work up early to have a look. I think the morning shots were the best.
We stayed one night on the boat. The view at night is quite different. Pauline had some fun making a spring roll. Dinner was not quite good unfortunately.
The next day was spend in Ha Long Bay. It was beautiful but I guess ready touristy too.
In the evening, we went to take a photo of the St Joseph's Cathedral.
The next stop was thee Mua Caves which we had climb up a mountain to go to. We chickened out and spend the time at the foot of the mountain looking at lotuses.
Next stop after Hoa Lu is Trang An which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Wee took a small sampan and toured around the place. I must admit that the place is really beautiful.
Next stop was Hoa Lu Ancient Capital where we visited the temple.
The view from the hotel at Hanoi during breakfast.
