Otaru

After breakfast, we drove to Otaru. Really nice place to walk and look at all the small shops selling hand made things.

The musical boxes here are amazing. I got one that had One Summer’s Day and it was seriously the best I ever heard. I did not even imagine that musical boxes can sound so good.

There were also glass sculptures by an artist Mieko Noguchi that were simply amazing. Her work entitled 10^xm were so detailed and 3 dimensional. I could not even fantom how it was possible.
